Cindy

Cindy has been involved with SAR since 2015. Currently she has Guinness (Von Scheffler’s Irish Waters), a Dutch Shepherd certified in Live Area Search with Large Source through NSDA (National Search Dog Alliance). Cindy has completed training in FEMA ICS/NIMS, SAR TECH II (National Association of Search and Rescue), K9 First Aid/CPR, Human first Aid/CPR/AED, Crime Scene Preservation, Blood Borne Pathogens, HazMat and Wide Area Search. Cindy continues to educate herself on Scent Theory and Lost Person Behavior, and attending SAR/K9 training seminars. As well as being a Live Find and Human Remains handler, she assists other K9 handlers on searches. Member of NSDA (National Search Dog Alliance), NASAR (National Association for Search and Rescue), and NASDN (North American Search Dog Network).

K9 Guinness CGC, 2016-present. Guinness (Von Scheffler's Irish Waters), is a Dutch Shepard born Dec. 1, 2016. Guinness has certified for Large Source and Live Find through NSDA (National Search Dog Alliance) as well as Land Cadaver Recovery through L.E.T.S (Law Enforcement Training Specialist International Inc.). Guinness is an extremely active K9 that loves his work.
