Chad started with the team in December of 2016. He has earned his SARTech II certification from NASAR (National Association for Search and Rescue), and has training in First Aid/AED/CPR, Wilderness First Aid, K9 First Aid, Map/Compass/GPS, Crime Scene Preservation, Scent theory, and Search strategy. He has also certified with his first K9, Leaf, in Live Area Search through NASAR, Human Remains Detection with L.E.T.S. (Law Enforcement Training Specialists) and Canine SarTech HRD land through NASAR.

Leaf, (B’Leaf at WildRose, CGC), is a 2017 model Belgian Tervuren.   She received her Canine Good Citizen in September of 2019.  She is currently certified in Live Area Search through NASAR, Human Remains Detection Land through L.E.T.S. and Canine SARTech HRD land.  Leaf enjoys doing acrobatics while catching Frisbees doing Mach 1.
