Angie

Angie has been a volunteer member of WI K9 SOS since 2017. She holds a SARTech II certification with NASAR (National Association for Search and Rescue) as well as NIMS/ICS certifications through FEMA. Angie has completed required training in First Aid/AED/CPR, Wilderness First Aid, K9 First Aid, Crime Scene Preservation, and Map/Compass/GPS. She continues her training in Scent Theory, Lost Person Behavior and Search Strategy as well as her K9 handling skills by attending trainings and seminars. Angie’s K9 partner is Oakley who is Certified through NASAR (National Association for Search and Rescue) for Canine SARTech II Live Area Search as well as Live Area with Large Source through NSDA (National Search Dog Alliance).

Oakley (Lil’Hammer’s Mighty Red Oak, CGC) is a male Golden Retriever born in June 2018. He received his CGC (Canine Good Citizenship) in September 2019. He is certified through NASAR (National Assoc iation for Search and Rescue) for Canine SARTech II Live Area Search as well as Live Area with Large Source through NSDA (National Search Dog Alliance). He is a smart, talkative boy, full of youthful exuberance and loves life. He especially loves finding people who will play ball and scratch his back side.
