Margy has been involved with Search and Rescue since 2003.  Together with her partner Chena, she earned her SARTech II certification and moved to Alaska.  For eight years, Margy and Chena were members of PAWS Search Dogs in Fairbanks.  They were certified in live find, trailing and HRD detection.  Life brought Margy back home to Wisconsin where she practices as a veterinarian.  In 2018 she earned her SARTech 1 certification and started work with her second partner, Ivy.  Like her teammates, they enjoy vacationing wherever there's a seminar.  Beyond dog training, her special interest is using geo-spatial imaging in search work.  Margy became a probationary member of K9 SOS in September 2020.

Ivy (Danikk Summer Solstice) was born in April, 2017.  She was awarded her Canine Good Citizen Certificate by the grace of God in 2019 and completed the certification for HRD by the National Association of Search and Rescue (NASAR).  She is also certified through NNCDS for Water HRD.  She loves her frisbee, standing water, and shedding on her favorite people.
