Renee/Auxiliary Member

Renee started volunteering with Wisconsin K9 SOS Search and Rescue in late 2021 after another team member invited her to hide as a lost person for canine trailing training. She felt instantly welcomed by the entire team and looks forward to attending every team training weekend. She is trained in American Heart Association Child CPR, AED and First Aid and is in the process of completing FEMA courses ICS 100, 200, 700 and 800. She is eager to continue learning about lost and missing person behavior and search operation protocols, supporting search dog training exercises, and actively serving as an auxiliary team member to support the amazing work of this organization and its mission. She also loves rewarding the hard-working K-9s with cuddles and sharing homemade baked goods with the dedicated and hungry handlers.
